Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Security, Apple Services Engineering

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Security team. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure that powers Apple's global services like iCloud, iTunes, Siri, and Maps. The position focuses on foundational security services, including host access, disk encryption, identity, and authentication, which are critical for operational security and protecting Apple's fleet.

As an SRE in this role, you'll be part of a new team dedicated to security services, working closely with the ASE Security development team. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing security measures, ensuring system reliability, and developing automation tools. The role requires expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and proficiency in languages like Python, Golang, Java, or Rust.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Linux security primitives and experience with large-scale, highly available distributed systems. You'll be instrumental in defining and driving security standards, while ensuring they're practical and mapped to real threats.
