Sr Software Engineer, Apple Pay

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Apple Pay server engineering team, you'll be building products used by millions of users worldwide. Apple Pay is leading the digital transformation of Wallet, Payments & Commerce industry by re-imagining the user experience for various verticals like payment cards, identity, access, transit and others.

Your responsibilities will include architecting and implementing highly available and scalable systems, analyzing requirements and translating them into technical designs, and writing high-quality, testable code. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Client Engineering, Radios/NFC, Security & Compliance, and External Partners.

The ideal candidate has strong software development skills in Java/Kotlin, experience with distributed systems, and a track record of building scalable backend services. You should have expertise in both relational and NoSQL databases, along with solid understanding of API design principles.

This role offers competitive compensation including base pay between $143,100 and $264,200, plus equity opportunities through stock programs, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work on products that impact millions of users globally.
