Apple's Applications Data Science team is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join their innovative environment. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data science and product development, supporting user growth of subscription services and feature development.

As a Staff Data Scientist, you'll be at the forefront of building sophisticated machine learning models and leading the development of impactful data products. The role spans the entire data spectrum, from statistical modeling and causal inference to machine learning and product analytics. You'll work with large-scale data to drive user experience improvements and business growth.

Requirements For Staff Data Scientist, Apps Team

  • 6+ years of overall industry experience in data science, statistics, and/or modeling
  • Practical experience with advanced quantitative methods, statistical & machine learning model development
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Familiarity with data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Hive
  • Strong skills in managing priorities and collaborating with diverse groups
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, CS, Predictive Analytics, or similar
