Storage Validation Engineer

Apple is seeking a Storage Validation Engineer for their DC HW Engineering team to help deliver cloud storage solutions for their world-class services. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with SSD and NAND technologies, focusing on storage systems' architecture, reliability, and performance verification. The position involves collaborating with Server Design, software, SRE, DC ops, and Supply Chain teams.

As a Storage Validation Engineer, you'll be responsible for validating new SSD and NAND technologies for Fast Storage server platforms, working closely with technology vendors and internal engineering teams. The role requires deep expertise in storage hardware validation, system debugging, and firmware qualifications. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that builds Apple Storage Services for all Cloud Services.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with 5+ years of storage hardware validation experience. Knowledge of Linux OS, storage systems architecture, and automation skills using Python are highly valued.
