Strategic Sourcing Manager, AppleCare

Apple is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for AppleCare to assist with strategic planning, long-term deal structuring, and negotiations for after-sales service parts & modules. This role requires strong quantitative and analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The position involves working with procurement, engineering, finance, and legal teams, as well as third-parties such as contract manufacturers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Cost Management: Lead negotiations for new buys, repairs, warranty, and out-of-production replacement parts across all regions and repair channels.
2. Reuse and Repair: Monitor and report on re-use yields and associated environmental benefits, promoting initiatives to grow re-use and avoid waste in the service supply chain.
3. Supplier Management: Handle supplier performance, negotiate contractual terms, and coordinate quarterly business reviews.
4. Reverse Logistics: Design repair and replacement supply chains to ensure continuity of supply at the lowest cost and highest service level.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or After-sales Service, with strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication. They should be able to work independently, make quick decisions, and solve complex problems.
