System Analysis Engineer - Platform Architecture

Apple's Platform Architecture group is seeking a highly motivated system analysis engineer with excellent analytical skills. This role involves identifying key experiences for different user groups, defining metrics, designing experiments, and analyzing system performance across Apple and competitor devices. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to enhance customer experiences, measure system analytics, and uncover potential optimizations in hardware and software.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify key experiences and define useful metrics for different user groups
• Design experiments to measure and analyze experiences
• Measure system analytics (performance, power, thermal, acoustic) across Apple and competitor devices
• Uncover potential optimizations in hardware (CPU, GPU, neural engine, etc.) and software (OS, drivers, applications)
• Collaborate with engineering groups to improve customer experiences
• Stay updated on the latest technology developments and product launches
