Responsibilities For System Instrument Design Architect Engineer

  • Architect new instruments from early concept phase to detailed block diagrams
  • Collaborate with internal and external technology, silicon and module development teams
  • Define key instrument and chipset selection
  • Analyze systems and make architectural implementation trade-offs
  • Design dedication, high quality, low cost instrument solutions
  • Review & influence module roadmaps
  • Build internal and external instrument specifications requirement
  • Define, simulate, and model product performance
  • Develop tools and scripts for system modeling and analysis
  • Use schematic and layout tools such as Cadence Concept & Allegro

Requirements For System Instrument Design Architect Engineer

Linux
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years experience in system-level design for consumer electronics
  • Embedded programming experience
  • Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging
  • Experience in functional verification and manufacturing support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project and time management skills
