Description For Technical Program & Quality Manager (System-in-Package)

We're seeking a Technical Program & Quality Manager for our System-in-Package operations who will play a crucial role in bringing some of the world's most challenging SiP designs from concept to high-volume manufacturing. This position sits within the DFM organization and requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills.

The role involves close collaboration with manufacturing suppliers (OSATs or CMs) and internal teams to optimize product design and manufacturability. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing robust factory and quality control systems, ensuring high standards for product quality while achieving efficient, scalable manufacturing solutions.

As a key member of our team, you'll manage factory and quality excursions, providing vital communication between management, cross-functional teams, and suppliers. Your expertise in semiconductor packaging or electronic assembly processes will be essential in proactively identifying and addressing critical issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities For Technical Program & Quality Manager (System-in-Package)

  • Partner with manufacturing suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Develop and implement factory and quality control systems
  • Optimize product design and process for manufacturability
  • Serve as key point of contact during factory or quality excursions
  • Drive continuous improvement in factory operations and product quality
  • Deliver efficient, scalable manufacturing solutions

Requirements For Technical Program & Quality Manager (System-in-Package)

  • B.S or M.S in Mechanical Engineering, EE, Material Science or related
  • 7+ years experience in semiconductor packaging or electronic assembly processes
  • Strong understanding of product quality and reliability
  • Experience with SMT, underfill/mold, laser, PVD/coating, bending, testing technologies
  • Proficiency in tools such as JMP and Tableau
  • Experience collaborating with Asia-based manufacturing suppliers
