Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager - Core Technologies

  • Technical lead for manufacturing operations at multiple vendors and sites
  • Driving contract manufacturer preparation for pre-production builds
  • Production process development, documentation, optimization and validation
  • Development and implementation of new technologies to improve production quality
  • Provide direction and mentorship to engineering groups and factory technicians
  • Design for Manufacturability support
  • Product Engineering support from concept to end of life
  • Process Engineering for quality and efficiency improvement
  • Failure/Data Analysis using Design of Experiments and Six Sigma principles
  • Regular VP level communication of technical health of program

Requirements For Technical Program Manager - Core Technologies

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years experience of hands-on experience in Design / Manufacturing Process Development
  • 30-40% international travel required
  • Experience in consumer electronics and inductive winding
  • Expertise in small motor design and manufacturing
  • Manufacturing expertise in assembling precision electro-mechanical devices
  • Proficiency with GD&T, metrology techniques, statistical process control, FMEA
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in managing contract manufacturers
