Responsibilities For Tools & Automation Engineer

  • Develop and execute software test plans for consumer electronics
  • Develop and execute software tests to identify problems and causes
  • Test system modifications for implementation
  • Document software defects using bug tracking system
  • Create test strategy and test plan for software development life cycle
  • Collect KPIs to improve software behavior
  • Support testing of AR/VR technology features
  • Execute regression testing
  • Work with software development engineers on test plans and design reviews
  • Work with automation teams on automation initiatives

Requirements For Tools & Automation Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field
  • 2 years experience with SDLC and performing software testing
  • 2 years experience with software test automation and debugging
  • 2 years experience utilizing Python to design and develop automated test cases
  • 2 years experience performing Bluetooth-HID/BLE testing
  • 2 years experience executing pre-defined automated test scripts
  • 2 years experience performing regression testing
  • 2 years experience analyzing competitor Bluetooth product performance
  • 2 years experience reviewing and debugging configuration files, logs, and code
