Responsibilities For Touch ID Product Design Engineer
- Own the end-to-end design, development and validation of sensing technology
- Generate design concepts and engineering analysis
- Identify design tradeoffs and risks
- Apply experiment design and scientific method to reduce design risk
- Run tolerance studies for manufacturing feasibility
- Drive processes to meet Apple's high cosmetic standards
- Support external manufacturing vendors with process development
- Conduct root cause analysis for testing issues

Requirements For Touch ID Product Design Engineer
- BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience or equivalent
- Hands-on experience designing for a production environment
- 3D CAD experience is required
