Description For Wireless Design Verification Engineer

Apple's wireless silicon development team is seeking a Wireless Design Verification Engineer to join their innovative team working on next-generation wireless silicon technology. This role is at the heart of wireless product development, focusing on ASIC pre-silicon verification of high-throughput and low-power Wireless Physical Layer systems.

As a Wireless Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for verifying complex phy technology and protocols, developing advanced testbenches and infrastructure, applying systems models, and driving feature closure. You'll work with controllers, blocks, subsystems, protocols, and SOC integration frameworks, ensuring the delivery of excellent products.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $143,100 to $264,200, along with comprehensive benefits including medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and equity opportunities through stock programs. Responsibilities For Wireless Design Verification Engineer

  • Develop feature or subsystem test planning, bring up, through feature closure
  • Develop testbench environment, infrastructure, methodology, and flow automation development
  • Cross functional partnership, driving verification requirement and deliverable
  • Develop constrained randomization scenario development and debug
  • Develop regression issue tracking and closure
  • Develop data analysis metric development and utilization for extensive regression and coverage data

Requirements For Wireless Design Verification Engineer

Python
  • BS + 3 years of experience
  • Experience verifying ASICs or complex IP
  • Knowledge of ASIC verification flows with SystemVerilog and UVM
  • Experience developing testbenches environments or components
  • Knowledge with constrained random testing, coverage analysis, and RTL simulations
  • Exposure to a scripting language such as Python, Perl, Bash or similar
  • Great teammate with excellent communication skills
