Apple is seeking a talented Wireless MAC Design Engineer to join their growing wireless silicon development team. This role is part of Apple's vertically coordinated engineering effort focused on highly energy-efficient design and innovative technologies that enhance user experience at the product level.
The position involves working with a world-class team spanning various disciplines including Systems/PHY/MAC architecture and design, digital RTL design and integration, RF/Analog architecture and design, Emulation, Design Verification, Test and Validation, and FW/SW engineering.
As a Wireless MAC Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing microarchitecture and RTL for digital logic of wireless MAC systems. You'll collaborate closely with software and firmware teams for HW/SW partitioning, and work alongside physical design, DFT, Power, and CAD teams to deliver completed MAC IP for SoC integration.
The role requires expertise in digital logic design, experience with Verilog or SystemVerilog RTL, and a strong understanding of ASIC design flows. You'll be involved in both pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation phases, supporting system integration and debug efforts.
