Responsibilities For Wireless MAC Design Engineer

  • Prepare microarchitecture and RTL for digital logic of the wireless MAC based on functional requirements
  • Participate in HW/SW partitioning discussions with SW and FW engineering teams
  • Work with physical design, DFT, Power, and CAD teams for MAC IP SoC integration
  • Support verification/prototyping/emulation teams during pre-silicon verification
  • Support post-silicon validation, system integration, and debug efforts

Requirements For Wireless MAC Design Engineer

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Very strong digital logic design fundamentals
  • Experience in translating functional requirements into synthesizable Verilog or SystemVerilog RTL
  • Knowledge of digital design flows
  • Ability to design multi-clock-domain logic and resolve CDC problems
  • 3+ years of experience in ASIC microarchitecture and RTL design
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
