As a Wireless SoC Design Engineer at Apple, you'll join the growing wireless silicon development team responsible for all aspects of wireless silicon development. The role focuses on highly energy-efficient design and new technologies that transform the user experience at the product level. You'll work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, collaborating with people across different functional areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with leads and architecture teams to define design microarchitecture
- Developing RTL design of one or more blocks following established guidelines
- Owning all aspects of RTL development design
- Collaborating with other designers to deliver results
- Integrating common/shared IP blocks and optimizing memories/hard macros
- Completing front-end synthesis/STA to ensure timing is met
- Optimizing power/performance
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary groups to ensure timely, high-quality design delivery

Responsibilities For Wireless SoC Design Engineer
- Define design microarchitecture with leads and architecture team
- Develop RTL design of one or more blocks based on microarchitecture spec
- Own all aspects of RTL development design
- Collaborate with other designers in the group
- Integrate common/shared IP blocks and optimize memories/hard macros
- Complete front-end synthesis/STA to ensure timing is met
- Optimize power/performance
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups to deliver high-quality designs on time
Requirements For Wireless SoC Design Engineer
- BS with 3+ years relevant experience required. MS preferred.
- Familiarity with the ASIC design flow
- Knowledge of digital design, SoC architecture, and HDL languages like Verilog
