Description For Wireless System Integration Engineer

Apple is seeking a forward-thinking Wireless System Integration Engineer to join their innovative hardware team. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge wireless communication systems that will impact millions of Apple users worldwide.

As a Wireless System Integration Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of physical layer system design, integration, and characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products. Responsibilities For Wireless System Integration Engineer

  • Implement system models for wireless communication system and RF/circuit impairments
  • Design algorithms for calibration, pre-equalization, cancellation, and pre-distortion techniques
  • Implement fixed-point models and perform detailed performance investigation
  • Work with digital designers using power and area efficient digital implementations
  • Collaborate with firmware designers using high efficiency software implementations
  • Validate and characterize algorithms on real silicon alongside RFIC and digital circuit designers

Requirements For Wireless System Integration Engineer

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineer or equivalent
  • Related education experience in OFDM system
  • Understanding of communication theory and signal processing related algorithms
  • MSEE preferred
