Apple is seeking a Worldwide Logistics Operations Industrial Engineer for their DC Operations team.   • Designing and validating distribution center layout
  • Develop and own DC IE KPI's and project roadmap
  • Choosing, designing and validating warehouse automation
  • Working with third party logistics partners and vendors
  • Validate new automation/operational equipment
  • Setup DC benchmarking metrics for DC's across US, APAC and Europe
  • Calculating production costs and metrics
  • Maintaining product process flow, layout and parameters
  • Implementing lean principles to factory processes

Requirements For Worldwide Logistics Operations- Industrial Engineer DC Operations

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 3+ years of Warehouse or Supply Chain experience
  • Experience with predetermined time standards (MODAPTS, MOST or MTM)
  • Experience with Design for Logistics operations
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing
  • Ability to run basic models in discrete event simulation softwares
