Worldwide Logistics Operations- Industrial Engineer DC Operations

As a Worldwide Industrial Engineer for DC Operations, you will lead efforts to improve processes and technology in a highly impactful role. You'll drive improvements and new technologies at Apple's 3PL sites to ensure optimum use of resources. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing and validating distribution center layouts to meet KPIs for labor, throughput, and lead times
2. Developing, owning, and communicating DC IE KPIs and project roadmaps to senior leadership
3. Choosing, designing, and validating warehouse automation using data-driven approaches
4. Working with 3PL partners and vendors to drive process and design optimizations
5. Validating new automation/operational equipment to improve efficiency and productivity
6. Setting up DC benchmarking metrics across US, APAC, and Europe

You'll need experience with:

• Predetermined time standards (MODAPTS, MOST, or MTM)
• Discrete process simulations
• Design for Logistics operations
• Lean Manufacturing
• Ergonomic validations
• Discrete event simulation software (FlexSIM and PlantSIM)

You'll also be responsible for calculating production costs, maintaining product process flow, and implementing lean principles in factory-related processes.
