Description For Application Engineer

Applied Intuition is a leading vehicle software supplier that's revolutionizing the automotive and autonomous vehicle industry. As an Application Engineer, you'll play a crucial role bridging the gap between customers and engineering teams, working with 18 of the top 20 global automakers. The position combines technical expertise with customer success, requiring proficiency in debugging, Python/C++/Linux, and strong communication skills.

You'll be part of a team that delivers AI-powered ADAS/AD toolchain, vehicle platform, and autonomy stack solutions. The role involves running office hours, providing first-line support, managing customer requests, and leading important workstreams. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys both technical challenges and customer interaction.

The company's presence spans globally with offices in Mountain View, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Washington D.C., and international locations. As an in-office position, you'll be expected to work from the office five days a week, allowing for close collaboration with team members and optimal support for customers.

Responsibilities For Application Engineer

  • Run office hours and first line support for customers
  • Manage requests from customer teams to ensure maximum value from Applied's products
  • Lead workstreams to support groups of users in customer engagements
  • Handle Level 1 support
  • Process bug reports and feature requests
  • TPM customer issues

Requirements For Application Engineer

  • Experience in interacting with end-customers as an application engineer or developer
  • Acute attention to detail and execution focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills and focus on solving customer problems
  • Proficiency in debugging and working with Python/C++/Linux
  • Experience in QA and desire to grow customer facing and engineering skills
