Description For Application Engineer - Technical Customer Lead

Applied Intuition is seeking an Application Engineer - Technical Customer Lead to manage customer engagements and own overall account strategy. This role requires a unique mix of software expertise, domain knowledge, and execution-driven mindset. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to ensure Applied's products provide maximum impact to advance customers' autonomy initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning account strategy for major enterprise customers
  • Managing executive and leadership relationships
  • Understanding customer development needs and proposing effective use of Applied's products
  • Ensuring customer needs are supported by the broader engineering team
  • Collaborating with sales teams to gather requirements
  • Exploring new product development areas

Requirements:

  • Experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers
  • Prior work in autonomous vehicle or robotics development domains
  • 3+ years as either an application engineer or a developer with customer interaction experience
  • Familiarity with best practices in large-scale software development
  • Strong communication skills and focus on solving customer problems

Nice to have:

  • Background in technical sales or application engineering for simulation products
  • Prior work in autonomous vehicle development domains
