As an Autonomy System Validation Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing and validating autonomous driving systems for L4 trucking. This role combines technical expertise in ADAS/autonomous driving with system validation, requiring both analytical thinking and practical implementation skills.

The position offers an opportunity to shape the technical direction of autonomous vehicle projects, working with cutting-edge technology in a rapidly growing field. You'll be responsible for developing comprehensive validation strategies, building test plans, and ensuring the safety and performance of autonomy modules including perception, planning, prediction, and localization.

Responsibilities For Autonomy System Validation Engineer

  • Develop and execute system validation strategy for autonomy modules
  • Build comprehensive test plans across simulation and real world testing
  • Work with systems engineering teams on validation test plans
  • Develop strategies for analyzing real world performance
  • Identify and measure performance metrics
  • Build and deploy frameworks for metric generation and evaluation
  • Trace metrics to safety case tree
  • Support generation of safety case and release recommendation reports

Requirements For Autonomy System Validation Engineer

Python
  • 5+ years of experience in ADAS or Autonomous driving
  • MS/BS degree in Robotics, Aerospace, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Experience with ADAS, autonomous systems and robotics
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL4600)
  • Knowledge of architectural design of ADAS/AV systems
  • Experience with scripting and simulation tools
  • Strong collaboration skills
