Applied Intuition is seeking a System Engineer with strong MBSE, robotics, and software expertise to create and manage the functional and logical architecture of a new Applied product. This critical role will shape the technical direction of a strategically important new project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deriving features from customer user journeys and using Cameo to build, maintain, and analyze functional and logical architecture
- Ensuring traceability of system artifacts across User Journeys, Features, System requirements, Subsystem requirements, and test cases
- Working closely with developers to provide guidance on technical implementation
- Monitoring and managing full system-level requirements and ensuring the system meets intended requirements
- Creating system and subsystem requirements, defining system bounds, capabilities, and functional features
- Managing validation and verification of requirements at system and subsystem levels
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2+ years of experience in systems engineering, including system requirements, functional decomposition, allocation, analysis, and verification
- 2+ years of experience with Model Based Systems Engineering approaches, methods, and techniques
- Extensive experience working with SysML and Cameo in Automotive, defense, or aerospace industry
- Experience with requirements validation and verification for subsystems and integrated system-level components
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience in both initial requirements and final system validation
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
- Strong project management skills
