We're seeking talented software engineers to join our team in designing elegant solutions for complex autonomy and mobility challenges. As a Software Engineer, you'll work across our suite of products, tackling diverse full-stack, infrastructure, dynamics, and graphics challenges. The role offers significant ownership over technical and product decisions, direct user interaction for feedback collection, and the opportunity to contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.

The position requires strong expertise in computational mechanics and finite element methods, with proficiency in C/C++ programming. You'll be working on critical aspects of our VehicleSim Math Models, collaborating with technical domain experts, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through regression testing and optimization.

This is an in-office position at our Mountain View headquarters, offering the chance to work alongside industry experts in autonomous vehicle technology. Responsibilities For Software Engineer

  • Interface with technical domain experts for physics, parameters, and simulation results changes
  • Run and interpret regression tests
  • Refactor and optimize code for maintainability and performance
  • Diagnose code issues
  • Create documentation for design changes, post-mortems, and release notes
  • Collaborate with team members on VehicleSim Math Models

Requirements For Software Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in designing and implementing software algorithms for computational mechanics and finite element methods
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming
