Description For Software Engineer - Mission Sim

Applied Intuition is revolutionizing the automotive and defense industries with their AI-powered ADAS/AD toolchain and vehicle software solutions. As a Software Engineer on the Mission Sim team, you'll be part of a "startup within a startup" that's applying Applied's expertise in on-road simulation to multi-domain, large-scale simulation for collaborative autonomy.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work across various development areas, from frontend UI/UX for 3D rendering to backend application implementation in a state-of-the-art simulator. You'll be working directly with users, delivering features rapidly, and making a significant impact on the Defense industry's autonomous systems development.

The company, founded in 2017, has gained the trust of 18 of the top 20 global automakers and maintains offices across the US and internationally. The position offers competitive compensation including base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The team values quick iteration cycles and maintains close collaboration with end-users to deliver practical solutions.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about autonomous systems, eager to work across the full stack, and ready to take ownership in a fast-growing product team. While specific experience with the tech stack (C++, TypeScript, React) is beneficial, the company is willing to invest in teaching these skills to the right candidate who brings strong software development fundamentals and enthusiasm for the mission.
