Description For Software Integration Engineer

Applied Intuition, a leading vehicle software supplier founded in 2017, is revolutionizing the automotive and intelligent machines industry. As a trusted partner to 18 of the top 20 global automakers, we provide AI-powered ADAS/AD toolchain, vehicle platform, and autonomy stack solutions. We're seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, CA.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of integrating software and hardware systems, ensuring seamless delivery of our newest product features to customers. You'll work directly with clients to understand their needs, manage integration projects, and collaborate across multiple teams including product, software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science or engineering, with hands-on experience in C/C++ development and electronic systems. You'll be responsible for designing test rigs, troubleshooting integrations, and maintaining system reliability. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to new technical challenges.

Responsibilities For Software Integration Engineer

  • Deliver full-system features that span software and hardware that meet customer requirements
  • Directly interact with customers to identify target use-cases and manage integration projects
  • Work cross-functionally with product, software, mechanical and electrical teams
  • Develop deep understanding of system architecture and component interactions
  • Design and bring up test rigs for end-to-end testing
  • Test and troubleshoot integration between various components

Requirements For Software Integration Engineer

  • BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree
  • Software development experience in C/C++
  • Understanding of electronic systems and debugging
  • Proven ability as a self-starter
  • Experience in fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with developing software for embedded systems
