Description For System Integration Engineer

Applied Intuition, a leading vehicle software supplier trusted by 18 of the top 20 global automakers, is seeking a System Integration Engineer to join their team in Mountain View, CA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of autonomous vehicle technology and system integration.

The position involves being an integral part of the entire product design lifecycle, where your technical contributions will directly impact the requirements, design, integration, and validation/verification of self-driving vehicles. You'll work with cross-functional teams to create integration plans, document deliverables, and ensure the seamless integration of all software and hardware components.

As a System Integration Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing integration test cases, delivering first article vehicles, and publishing crucial documentation for workflow and component configurations. The role requires a strong technical background with hands-on experience in both hardware and software integration, particularly in autonomous vehicle systems.

Requirements For System Integration Engineer

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in owning technical responsibility over a system or subsystem
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and software integration for autonomous vehicles
  • Understanding of hardware components like sensors and compute
  • Familiarity with CAN, Docker and Ethernet protocols in Linux environment
  • Experience with Wireshark and diagnostic software tools
  • Basic coding skills (Python, bash scripts, C, C++)
  • Experience with JIRA, Polarion and Confluence
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Working knowledge of Linux based operating systems
