In this role, you'll lead vehicle engineering development from build-out to delivery, working hands-on with cutting-edge autonomous vehicle systems. You'll be responsible for mechanical design support, system integration, test bench development, and crucial troubleshooting of complex vehicle systems. This position offers a unique blend of mechanical and software engineering challenges, requiring both hands-on technical skills and strategic thinking.

We're looking for someone who combines strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with software expertise, particularly in languages like Python and C++. Responsibilities For Vehicle Integration Engineer

  • Lead and support mechanical engineering development of vehicle from build-out phase through delivery
  • Support mechanical design by performing vehicle integration
  • Design and build test benches to validate mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software systems
  • Develop and own documentation related to vehicle integration
  • Troubleshoot vehicles systems, computer components, and sensors

Requirements For Vehicle Integration Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Mathematics
  • At least 2 years of experience as an integration engineer for an autonomous automotive company
  • 2 years of experience using Bash, Python, C++, Matlab, and working in a Linux OS environment
