Applied Labs LLC is seeking a versatile Full-Stack DevOps/SysOps Developer to join their team of software engineering experts. This role combines system operations expertise with development capabilities, focusing on Linux system administration, infrastructure maintenance, and security management. The position involves supporting a legacy PHP 5.6 application while managing broader system operations including server configuration, database management, and security protocols.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience and strong proficiency in Linux environments, MySQL database management, NGINX configuration, and security protocols. Working remotely during US Eastern Time business hours, you'll be responsible for maintaining system integrity, implementing monitoring solutions, and ensuring optimal performance of our infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include managing Linux-based servers, implementing security measures, handling database operations, and providing customer support. You'll work with modern monitoring tools while maintaining legacy systems, requiring a blend of established and contemporary technical skills.

Responsibilities For Full-Stack DevOps Developer (004)

  • Configure and maintain Linux-based servers
  • Manage NGINX configurations and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Setup and monitor cron jobs for automated processes
  • Handle SSL certificate management
  • Setup and maintain telemetry and network monitoring tools
  • Implement and manage IP whitelists for security
  • Perform regular MySQL database backups and recovery operations
  • Provide support for PHP 5.6 application
  • Serve as point of contact for customer support inquiries
  • Document infrastructure and system processes

Requirements For Full-Stack DevOps Developer (004)

  • 3+ years in DevOps, SysOps, or Full-Stack Developer role with Linux administration experience
  • Availability to work during US Eastern Time (EST) business hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • Strong MySQL experience including database management and optimization
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing NGINX servers and cron jobs
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining telemetry and network monitoring tools
