Apply Digital is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team. This role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Spain working in GMT hours. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll contribute to the company strategy by validating that applications meet design specifications and requirements. This includes testing iOS, Android, Web applications, Voice Recognition, AR, IoT, and other digital-to-human interfaces for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading test strategy and planning for complex projects
- Conducting comprehensive test execution (automated and manual)
- Designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to the QA team
- Managing test environments and metrics
- Optimizing test processes and applying risk-based testing principles
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Advocating for a strong quality culture within the organization
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and test automation scripts
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and Agile/Scrum development
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Requirements For Senior Quality Engineer

- Extensive experience with using Javascript, or a similar scripting language
- Extensive experience creating and maintaining test automation scripts
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles
- Experience providing mentorship to other team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
