Apptronik is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manufacturing and Process Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in designing, installing, and commissioning electro-mechanical assemblies, as well as a proven track record in managing high-volume production lines. This role is critical in supporting the production team by optimizing manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the seamless execution of new product introductions (NPI) and engineering changes.

Their team has been building some of the most advanced robots on the planet for years, dating back to the DARPA Robotics Challenge. They apply their expertise across the full robotics stack to some of the most important and impactful problems our society faces.
Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assemblies, overseeing the installation and commissioning of new equipment, reducing product part count and/or BOM cost, and collaborating closely with design engineering, quality, and operations teams to address manufacturing challenges.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment, experience with DFX, FMEA, DOE, and continual process improvement, 3D CAD experience, and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and DFMA principles. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or relative experience is preferred.
