Responsibilities For Staff Electrical Engineer
- Work closely with engineering teams to conceptualize and implement electrical architectures for robotic platforms
- Rapid prototyping of electrical systems at system and board levels
- Generate design documentation including schematics, block diagrams, test plans
- Convert prototype designs to custom circuit board specifications
- Perform board bring-up activities including embedded firmware development
- Create and execute test plans for products
- Drive excellence in EMI/EMC/SI/PI and DFM/DFA
- Participate in debugging and root cause analysis
- Interface with manufacturing teams for design optimization
Requirements For Staff Electrical Engineer
- Experience with batteries, battery management systems, charger systems
- Experience with high-performance power electronics
- Experience with three-phase PMSM motor control
- Experience with functional safety design and TÜV
- Experience bringing products through compliance testing (UL, CSA, FCC, CE)
- Competency in CAD tools including Altium
- Experience with simulation tools
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
