Responsibilities For Staff Electrical Engineer

  • Work closely with engineering teams to conceptualize and implement electrical architectures for robotic platforms
  • Rapid prototyping of electrical systems at system and board levels
  • Generate design documentation including schematics, block diagrams, test plans
  • Convert prototype designs to custom circuit board specifications
  • Perform board bring-up activities including embedded firmware development
  • Create and execute test plans for products
  • Drive excellence in EMI/EMC/SI/PI and DFM/DFA
  • Participate in debugging and root cause analysis
  • Interface with manufacturing teams for design optimization

Requirements For Staff Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • Experience with batteries, battery management systems, charger systems
  • Experience with high-performance power electronics
  • Experience with three-phase PMSM motor control
  • Experience with functional safety design and TÜV
  • Experience bringing products through compliance testing (UL, CSA, FCC, CE)
  • Competency in CAD tools including Altium
  • Experience with simulation tools
  • Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
