Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Proactive Services

ARO is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for their Proactive Services team in Cardiff, UK. This newly created role focuses on managing and delivering proactive tasks to customer infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong Wintel and Azure IaaS technical background, network device experience, and understanding of RMM and automation platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and delivering regular firmware patches and updates
• Managing vendor alerts for security and patch notifications
• Reviewing customer environments for patch version status
• Administering company monitoring and automation toolsets
• Developing automation strategies for Proactive Services
• Providing high-level technical troubleshooting
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers
• Supporting other technical engineers as needed
• Maintaining ITIL-aligned Change Management processes
• Developing and reporting on proactive function metrics

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 2 days per week in the Cardiff office. Working hours may vary, typically starting between 7am and 3pm to accommodate out-of-business-hours activities.
