Responsibilities For Principal Elixir Engineer
- Lead incident response efforts for Elixir-based systems and APIs
- Design and implement secure, scalable Elixir applications
- Analyze logs and application data to identify and resolve issues
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure stability and performance of production environments
- Promote best practices for functional programming and system design
- Evaluate architectural changes and provide expertise on Elixir's impact
Requirements For Principal Elixir Engineer
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant Elixir expertise
- Hands-on experience with Elixir and the Phoenix Framework in production
- Proficiency in functional programming and distributed systems design
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, especially GitLab CI/CD
- Knowledge of APIs, cloud environments, and distributed system architecture
