Description For Sales Engineer Internship

Astera Labs is seeking a Technical Customer Engineering Intern to join their team. Key responsibilities include:

  2. Providing technical expertise throughout the sales process
  3. Conducting product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations
  4. Collaborating with the sales team to identify new opportunities
  5. Developing strong customer relationships
  6. Contributing to sales strategies and contract negotiations
  7. Working with customers' engineering teams to integrate Astera Labs' semiconductor solutions
  8. Collaborating with internal engineering teams to gather product feedback

You'll gain in-depth knowledge of semiconductor products, with a focus on PCI/CXL/Ethernet protocol connectivity solutions. The role involves hands-on learning of AI HW Infrastructure, including server design architecture, rack integration, and silicon development. You'll also prepare to present Astera Labs' product portfolio to customer engineering teams and study customer needs to create product engagement strategies.

Responsibilities For Sales Engineer Internship

  • Understand customer needs and align product offerings with their requirements
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new customer opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Contribute to sales strategies, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
  • Work with customers' engineering teams to integrate Astera Labs' semiconductor solutions
  • Gather feedback on product performance in real-world applications
  • Assist in troubleshooting customer issues related to high-speed interfaces
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation and product training sessions

Requirements For Sales Engineer Internship

  • Solid understanding of circuit design, signal integrity, and power management principles
  • Knowledge of semiconductor products, particularly PCI/CXL/Ethernet protocol connectivity solutions
  • Familiarity with AI HW Infrastructure, including server design architecture and rack integration
  • Strong communication skills for presenting technical information and conducting product demonstrations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and customers
  • Technical troubleshooting skills, including use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and BERTs
  • Capacity to develop technical documentation and deliver training sessions
