Field Engineer, SWAT

Astronomer is seeking a Field Engineer, SWAT to join their globally-distributed team working on Astro, an industry-leading DataOps platform powered by Airflow. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring strong skills in Kubernetes, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Kubernetes, programming languages, and cloud platforms, along with excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. They'll be responsible for implementing Astronomer's solutions, guiding customers through Apache Airflow adoption, and ensuring platform solutions deliver real business value.

This remote position offers competitive compensation between $170,000 - $200,000 plus equity, reflecting the senior nature of the role.
