Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure Focus

Astronomer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with an infrastructure focus to join their R&D team. The role centers on the dataplane management team, which designs, builds, and owns the infrastructure running customer workloads. You'll be working on software that manages hundreds (eventually thousands) of kubernetes clusters across clouds.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and distributed systems, developing features for core infrastructure components like workload identity, multitenancy, and cross-region disaster recovery. You'll be instrumental in building and scaling Astro, their flagship product that enables data orchestration for major enterprises globally.
