Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure Focus

Astronomer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with an infrastructure focus to join their R&D team. The role involves working on the dataplane management team that designs, builds, and owns the infrastructure running customer workloads. You'll be responsible for developing software that powers automation and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure, consisting of hundreds of kubernetes clusters across clouds.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with distributed systems, particularly Kubernetes, and expertise in languages like Golang or Java. You'll be working on critical features including workload identity, multitenancy, cross-region disaster recovery, cloud quota management, and private network access.
