Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure Focus

Astronomer, the company behind Astro, a leading DataOps platform powered by Airflow, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with an infrastructure focus. This role is part of the dataplane management team, responsible for designing and building the infrastructure that runs customer workloads at scale. The position involves working with hundreds of kubernetes clusters across clouds, requiring expertise in infrastructure automation and lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate will contribute to critical infrastructure features including workload identity, multitenancy, cross-region disaster recovery, and cloud quota management. You'll be working on Astro, their flagship product that enables data orchestration for major enterprises globally. The role demands experience with large-scale SaaS infrastructure, distributed systems, and preferably Kubernetes.
