Senior Software Engineer, Observability

Astronomer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their R&D team, focusing on their data observability product. As an industry leader in data orchestration powered by Airflow, Astronomer offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical analytics and AI solutions.

The role involves designing and developing Astro's data observability platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement and improve observability and governance features. You'll be responsible for helping customers gain better visibility into their data pipelines and products while ensuring platform scalability and reliability.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of engineering experience, with strong expertise in Golang, SQL, and distributed systems. You'll need excellent communication skills and experience working in fast-paced startup environments. Knowledge of data observability products and Apache Airflow is a plus.
