Senior Software Engineer, Platform

Astronomer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform team, working on their industry-leading data orchestration platform, Astro. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining Astro's Public API, authentication, authorization, billing, and alerting frameworks. The position offers a competitive salary range of CA$190,000 - CA$220,000 with equity and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of engineering experience, with strong expertise in Golang, TypeScript, and SQL databases. You'll be working in a remote-first, globally-distributed environment, contributing to the design and development of platform architecture while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

As part of the R&D team, you'll be at the forefront of managing Apache Airflow at scale, focusing on delivering exceptional value to customers. The role involves working on common UI components and ensuring the general reliability, scalability, and maintainability of the Astro Platform.
