Senior Software Engineer, Platform

Astronomer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform team, working on their industry-leading DataOps platform, Astro. This role is integral to developing and maintaining Astro's Public API, authentication, authorization, billing, and alerting frameworks, as well as common UI components and overall platform reliability.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a remote-first, globally-distributed team environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of engineering experience, with strong expertise in Golang, TypeScript, and SQL databases. Experience with distributed systems and software development best practices is essential.

As a Platform team member, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing critical features that impact the entire engineering organization and customer base. The role involves close collaboration with front-end developers, product management, and customers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
