Astronomer is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to join their globally-distributed team. This role focuses on supporting strategic private-cloud customers in implementing and optimizing Apache Airflow clusters and related infrastructure. The position requires a hybrid work model with 3 days per week at the Hyderabad office.
The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of industry experience with strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and Linux systems. You'll be responsible for managing customer installations, monitoring infrastructure performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and serving as a bridge between customers and the product team.

Responsibilities For Solutions Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure
- Work with strategic private-cloud customers for Astronomer's offerings deployment and management
- Support Astronomer Managed Airflow Software installations on customer on-premise environments
- Set up and measure monitoring & alerting metrics for Customer on-prem infrastructure
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to Kubernetes-based private-cloud offerings
- Drive major incidents, root cause analysis, and change impact analysis
- Develop automation scripts for environment monitoring and health checks
- Provide technical guidance for critical infrastructure issues
- Act as liaison between clients and Product team for feedback and improvements
Requirements For Solutions Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure
- 2+ years hands-on Kubernetes experience
- 3-6 years of industry experience
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Expert knowledge in Linux/Unix Operating Systems
- Strong networking debugging skills
- Advanced understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience interacting with customers through various mediums
