Staff Software Engineer - Platform

Astronomer is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Platform team for their flagship enterprise product, Astronomer Software. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless operation and deployment of their enterprise solutions. The position involves working with a dedicated R&D team focused on providing exceptional experiences in managing Apache Airflow at scale.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and developing API services, authentication, authorization, logging, observability, and alerting frameworks. You'll also work on common UI components and ensure the platform's reliability, scalability, and maintainability. The role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including Node.js, React.js, and Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
