Description For Senior Sales Engineer

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Ataccama, you'll work closely with Account Executives to drive sales engineering activities across the entire deal lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and executing all sales engineering activities throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Developing customized presentations and demonstrations for each prospect's industry and unique needs
  • Leading and executing Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the platform's effectiveness
  • Engaging in in-depth technical discussions with clients
  • Maintaining expertise in relevant technologies, competitors, and industry specifics
  • Collaborating closely with Account Executives to ensure a cohesive sales strategy
  • Committing to continuous learning and professional development

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role
  • Experience with Data Governance or Master Data Management tools
  • Proficiency in SQL, data pipelines, APIs, and preferably Python
  • Proven success working with large enterprises with complex technical environments
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills

Responsibilities For Senior Sales Engineer

  • Sales Engineering Lifecycle Management: Oversee and execute all sales engineering activities throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Customized Client Solutions: Develop presentations and demonstrations to meet the specific needs of the audience
  • Spearhead Proof of Concepts (POCs): Lead and execute Proof of Concepts
  • Advanced Client Engagement: Lead in-depth technical discussions with clients
  • Industry and Product Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant technologies, competitors, business cases and industry specifics
  • Collaboration with Account Executives: Work closely with Account Executives, providing technical insights and support
  • Professional Development: Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and development

Requirements For Senior Sales Engineer

Python
  • 5+ years experience in a client-facing technical role (Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, etc.)
  • Experience working with Data Governance or Master Data Management tools
  • Proficient in SQL, data pipelines, APIs, and preferably programming experience. Ideally, Python.
  • Proven success working with large enterprises with complex technical environments
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
