This role combines technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities, working at the intersection of sales and technical solution delivery. The position involves managing the entire sales engineering lifecycle, from initial client engagement to deal closure, with a focus on creating customized solutions for diverse industry needs.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in technical sales roles, with specific expertise in Data Governance and Master Data Management tools. They'll need to be proficient in SQL, data pipelines, and APIs, with Python programming skills being a plus. The role demands someone who can effectively lead technical discussions, execute proof of concepts, and work collaboratively with Account Executives to drive sales success.

Responsibilities For Senior Sales Engineer

  • Oversee and execute all sales engineering activities throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Develop customized presentations and demonstrations for specific client needs
  • Lead and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs)
  • Lead in-depth technical discussions with clients
  • Maintain thorough understanding of relevant technologies and competitors
  • Work closely with Account Executives providing technical support
  • Maintain commitment to continuous learning and development

Requirements For Senior Sales Engineer

Python
  • 5+ years experience in a client-facing technical role (Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, etc.)
  • Experience working with Data Governance or Master Data Management tools
  • Proficient in SQL, data pipelines, APIs, and programming experience (preferably Python)
  • Proven success working with large enterprises with complex technical environments
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
