The role is part of Ataccama's journey to transition from an on-premise enterprise solution to a fully managed multi-cloud platform. The ideal candidate will lead quality assurance efforts, design and execute automated QA processes, and mentor others in best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and extending current test strategies
- Designing and developing automated quality assurance processes
- Leading the internal QA community
- Tracking quality metrics and using them to guide investments
- Investigating and solving non-conforming software issues
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong understanding of software development
- Experience with testing methodologies and processes
- Analytical thinking skills for designing effective test code and strategies
- Experience in agile software delivery on international projects
- Fluent English for daily communication
- At least 5 years of professional experience or a degree in computer science
Technical skills required:
- Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Python
- Experience with AWS and Azure ecosystems
- Comfort with Kubernetes environments and related technologies

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer - Quality Focus
- Review and extend current test strategy and test techniques to fit business needs
- Design, develop, promote and execute automated quality assurance
- Lead internal QA community
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies and apply it in practice
- Track quality assurance metrics and use them for decision where to invest
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and implement solutions
- Mentor others by sharing experience, best practices and lessons learned
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer - Quality Focus
- Strong understanding and practical experience of SW development
- Understanding testing methodologies and processes
- Good analytical thinking to design and write effective test code, plans and strategies
- Proven experience in SW delivery within an agile environment on international projects
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, for daily communication
- At least 5 years of professional experience or completed degree in computer science
- Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Python
- Experience with AWS and Azure ecosystems
