The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Java, Cassandra, and Kafka to build robust data platforms. You'll be responsible for crucial initiatives including metadata consumption optimization, storage enhancement, and developing systems capable of processing millions of data assets hourly.
As a senior engineer, you'll have the opportunity to lead core projects, mentor junior engineers, and become a subject matter expert in critical areas. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in distributed systems, with expertise in optimizing Elastic Search instances and managing Kafka clusters.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer - Platform
- Optimize metadata consumption to reduce search and graph lookup times to sub-second latency
- Optimize storage mechanisms and consistency protocols for large datasets
- Develop solutions for managing resource-intensive background tasks
- Lead design and implementation of systems capable of ingesting millions of data assets per hour
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a critical area
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer - Platform
- Experience in designing and implementing complex distributed systems
- Experience in building highly scalable and reliable backend services
