Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer Intern (Summer)

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design, prototype, and validate advanced actuators for humanoid robots
  • Work on electromagnetics and mechatronic systems, including modeling, simulation, and hands-on experimentation
  • Assist in developing test setups and procedures for performance characterization (force, speed, efficiency, etc.)
  • Document design processes, test plans, and results to support iterative improvements

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer Intern (Summer)

Python
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) program in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic principles, coil winding, and motor/generator fundamentals
  • Basic competence in CAD or simulation software for mechatronic assemblies
  • Hands-on prototyping experience
  • Programming skills in C/C++ or Python for automation and data analysis
  • Understanding of control systems for actuators
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
