Senior Data Engineer, Machine Learning Platform

Attentive, an AI-powered mobile marketing platform, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) team. This role is crucial in enabling Attentive's Machine Learning practice to impact their AI product suite through tools for training, inference, and model deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and operating ML data, tooling, serving, and inference layers of the ML platform. They will work with technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, and Ray to manage PB-scale data operations. The role requires expertise in feature store management and optimization for both offline and real-time inferencing capabilities.

Attentive's infrastructure runs on AWS EKS with Kubernetes, utilizing various modern tools like Istio, Terraform, and CloudFlare. The tech stack includes Java/Spring Boot microservices, React/TypeScript frontend, and Python-based ML implementations using frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
