Description For Cyber Engineer 2
Auria is looking to hire a Cyber Engineer 2 to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Work location is in Colorado Springs, CO.
The successful candidate will be expected to communicate and work closely with C2BMC Operational ISSOs in direct support of the Operational eMASS packages managed by the A&A team. Additionally, a qualified candidate must work closely with System owners, Cyber peers, Program Office technical/management staff, and other C2BMC Functional Areas to ensure the C2BMC fielded system attains and maintains appropriate Authorization for Connection, Test, and Operational purposes.
The selected candidate is expected to assist with Cyber Products analysis, Vulnerability mitigation, and POA&M Management to assist the team in the successful delivery of eMASS Packages, Ports Protocols, and Services (PPS) in accordance with contract schedules. The primary focus for the qualified candidate will be to rotate and blend technical documentation, surge support for authorization packages in eMASS, assess vulnerabilities, engineer responses for system POA&Ms, provide proposal support, and conduct risk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs).
Key Qualifications:
- Active SECRET clearance
- 2 years' experience with a bachelor's degree or 0 years' with a master's degree in relevant fields
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher
- Experience with Information Assurance, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2, and Risk Management Framework
- Agile Development Lifecycle experience
- Strong technical document preparation and communication skills
- Knowledge of various cybersecurity capabilities

Responsibilities For Cyber Engineer 2
- Support C2BMC Operational ISSOs and eMASS packages
- Work with System owners, Cyber peers, and Program Office staff
- Assist with Cyber Products analysis and Vulnerability mitigation
- Manage POA&Ms and deliver eMASS Packages, Ports Protocols, and Services
- Rotate and blend technical documentation
- Provide surge support for authorization packages in eMASS
- Assess vulnerabilities and engineer responses for system POA&Ms
- Provide proposal support
- Conduct risk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs)
Requirements For Cyber Engineer 2
- Active SECRET clearance
- 2 years' experience with a bachelor's degree or 0 years' with a master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or related field
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher
- Knowledge of Information Assurance technology, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2, and Risk Management Framework
- Experience in Agile Development Lifecycle
- Strong technical document preparation and communication skills
- Experience with creating/updating Assessment and Authorization packages for RMF Authority to Operate
