Auria is looking to hire a Cyber Engineer 2 to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Work location is in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will be expected to communicate and work closely with C2BMC Operational ISSOs in direct support of the Operational eMASS packages managed by the A&A team. The primary focus will be to rotate and blend technical documentation, surge support for authorization packages in eMASS, assess vulnerabilities, engineer responses for system POA&Ms, provide proposal support, and conduct risk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs).
Basic Qualifications:
- An active SECRET clearance is required to start.
- 2 years' experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; 0 years' experience with a master's degree; or 6 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher is required to start.
- Experience with Information Assurance (IA) technology, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Controls.
- Experience in the Agile Development Lifecycle.
- Leadership experience and effective interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Cyber capabilities.
- Recent experience with creating/updating Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for RMF Authority to Operate (ATOs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Application experience hardening Windows and Linux servers and workstations.
- Network design and software engineering backgrounds.
- Recent hands-on experience with Agile execution, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with Scripting Languages such as Python and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and analysis tools.
