Auria is actively seeking a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) Engineer to support the development of the Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS) Global SATCOM Satellite Configuration Control Element (GSCCE). The ideal candidate will perform DevSecOps tasks that design and implement solutions to build, test, and deploy containerized microservices in a fast-paced environment for providing an automated deployment and testing solution for a cloud-built and on-premises deployed software factory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations in multiple cloud service environments
- Support software quality efforts, conduct lifecycle maintenance of DevSecOps toolchain, and implement upgrades to the software factory
- Conduct automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and methods
- Recommend and implement upgrades to DevSecOps workflows and tools/products
- Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel to support on-site GSCCE installations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
- Strong programming skills in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and AzureCLI
- Experience with GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, and Jenkins
- Experience with AWS cloud and GCC High
- Experience with SATCOM constellation planning, spacecraft configuration, and resource allocation
- Knowledge of application security concepts and vulnerability remediation
- Experience with agile development and complex system engineering
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency with MS Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current U.S. Government SECRET security clearance
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and Security as Code (SaC)
- Expertise in modern software factory CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies
- Knowledge of secure software development methodologies
- Familiarity with security standards (NIST 800-171, STIG Compliance, Ansible Lockdown)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira and Confluence
